Adding DNS records for vendors<\/strong><\/h3>

This article requires prior knowledge of DNS record management via the Cloudflare dashboard. \u00a0To learn more, refer to Cloudflare’s article on managing DNS records.<\/p>

Google<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/u><\/h4>
Google Apps mail<\/strong><\/h5>

Add the following MX records:<\/p>

Review the\u00a0latest MX records required by Google App.<\/p>

Test the Google Apps email configuration.<\/p>

To avoid unexpected behavior, don\u2019t use\u00a0MX records<\/em>\u00a0other than Google\u2019s.<\/p>

Google App Engine<\/strong><\/h5>

Add a\u00a0CNAME record\u00a0<\/em>for Google App Engine to Cloudflare DNS.<\/p>

For example, if the domain is\u00a0www.example.com<\/em>, the\u00a0CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0is similar to:<\/p>

www<\/em>  CNAME  ghs.googlehosted.com<\/pre>
Confirm the\u00a0CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0value that Google requires for the domain.<\/p>
To configure a redirect for a Google Apps domain, refer to\u00a0Google\u2019s guide on URL forwarding.<\/p>
Google enforces HTTPS on its services. If you are see errors about redirect loops when browsing to your site through Cloudflare, ensure that SSL<\/strong>\u00a0is set to\u00a0Full<\/em>\u00a0in the\u00a0Crypto<\/strong>\u00a0app of the Cloudflare dashboard.<\/p>

Follow Google\u2019s instructions for\u00a0adding a site verification record to Cloudflare.<\/p>
Amazon<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>
AWS nameserver updates<\/strong><\/h5>
AWS customers must update their domain’s nameservers to point to the Cloudflare nameservers listed in the\u00a0Overview<\/strong>\u00a0app of the Cloudflare dashboard:<\/p>
  1. Log into AWS.<\/li>
  2. Click\u00a0My Account<\/strong>\u00a0in the top-right of the navigation bar.<\/li>
  3. Select\u00a0AWS Management Console<\/strong>\u00a0from the dropdown.<\/li>
  4. Click\u00a0Services<\/strong>\u00a0and select\u00a0Route 53<\/strong>.<\/li>
