If you are see errors about redirect loops when browsing to your site through Cloudflare, ensure that <strong>SSL<\/strong>\u00a0is set to\u00a0<em>Full<\/em>\u00a0in the\u00a0<strong>Crypto<\/strong>\u00a0app of the Cloudflare dashboard.<\/p><h5><strong>Google site verification<\/strong><\/h5><p>Follow Google\u2019s instructions for\u00a0adding a site verification record to Cloudflare.<\/p><h4><strong><u>Amazon<\/u><\/strong><\/h4><h5><strong>AWS nameserver updates<\/strong><\/h5><p>AWS customers must update their domain&#8217;s nameservers to point to the Cloudflare nameservers listed in the\u00a0<strong>Overview<\/strong>\u00a0app of the Cloudflare dashboard:<\/p><ol><li>Log into AWS.<\/li><li>Click\u00a0<strong>My Account<\/strong>\u00a0in the top-right of the navigation bar.<\/li><li>Select\u00a0<strong>AWS Management Console<\/strong>\u00a0from the dropdown.<\/li><li>Click\u00a0<strong>Services<\/strong>\u00a0and select\u00a0<strong>Route 53<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Update nameservers in two places:<ul><li>Click\u00a0<strong>Hosted zones<\/strong>\u00a0and select the domain to update with Cloudflare&#8217;s nameservers.<\/li><li>Edit the nameservers to point to Cloudflare&#8217;s nameservers.<\/li><li>Click\u00a0<strong>Registered domains<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the domain to update with Cloudflare&#8217;s nameservers.<\/li><li>Click\u00a0<strong>Add or edit name servers<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol><h5><strong>Amazon S3<\/strong><\/h5><p>Consult Amazon\u2019s documentation on how to\u00a0create an Amazon S3 bucket.<\/p><p>Note the full host URL assigned to the bucket.<\/p><p>Add a\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0for the AWS bucket in Cloudflare DNS. For example, if the full host URL of the bucket is\u00a0<em>files.example.com<\/em>, add a\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0similar to the following:<\/p><pre><em>files<\/em>  CNAME  <em>files.example.com<\/em>.s3.amazonaws.com<\/pre><p>Amazon requires that the CNAME match the bucket name as in the above example.<\/p><h5><strong>Amazon Simple Email Service (SES)<\/strong><\/h5><p>Refer to Amazon\u2019s documentation about\u00a0SES and verification settings.<\/p><p>Find the\u00a0<em>TXT<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>CNAME<\/em>\u00a0verification records that Amazon provides.<\/p><p>Add the records to Cloudflare DNS. \u00a0For example, if the Cloudflare domain is\u00a0<em>example.com<\/em>,\u00a0the DNS records are similar to the following:<\/p><pre><em>example.com  TXT <\/em> \"<em>fmxqxT\/icOYx4aA\/bEUrDPMeax9\/s3frblS+niixmqk=<\/em>\" verificationstring._domainkey.<em>example.com<\/em>  CNAME  verificationstring.dkim.amazonses.com<\/pre><p>The above TXT record content is an example. Use the correct content provided by Amazon SES.<\/p><h5><strong>Amazon ELB (Elastic Load Balancing)<\/strong><\/h5><p>Refer to\u00a0Amazon&#8217;s ELB help content\u00a0for guidance on ELB configuration at Amazon.<\/p><p>Cloudflare&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>CNAME Flattening<\/strong>\u00a0feature enables a CNAME record on the root domain to point to an Elastic Load Balancer.<\/p><ol start=\"1\"><li>Add a\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0to Cloudflare for the hostname; for example:\u00a0<em>elb<\/em><\/li><li>In the Cloudflare\u00a0<strong>DNS<\/strong>\u00a0app, replace\u00a0<strong>Domain name<\/strong>\u00a0with the ELB target:<br \/><em><br \/>..<\/em>elb.amazonaws.com is the proper\u00a0<em>CNAME<\/em>\u00a0target format<br \/>(for example:\u00a0<em>my-cool-cachepp-1344276401.eu-west-1.<\/em>elb.amazonaws.com).<\/li><li>Reach out to AWS support to determine\u00a0<em>AWS hostname<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>region<\/em>.<\/li><\/ol><h4><strong><u>Microsoft<\/u><\/strong><\/h4><h5><strong>Microsoft Office 365, Lync, or Exchange Online<\/strong><\/h5><p>Refer to the documentation on\u00a0Microsoft Office DNS setup\u00a0for current details.<\/p><p>Additionally, refer to Cloudflare\u2019s documentation on\u00a0managing DNS records.<\/p><p>Add the DNS records that Microsoft utilizes for domain validation (such as\u00a0<em>autodiscover<\/em>) with a grey-cloud icon.<\/p><h5><strong>Azure<\/strong><\/h5><p>Follow Microsoft\u2019s instructions on\u00a0configuring Azure DNS settings.<\/p><p>Add Azure\u2019s required records to Cloudflare DNS.<\/p><p>For example, if the domain is\u00a0<em>example.com<\/em>, the record format is similar to:<\/p><pre><em>example.com<\/em>  A  203.0.113.1\n<em>www.example.com<\/em>  CNAME\u00a0 <em>example<\/em>.azurewebsites.net<\/pre><p>Replace\u00a0<em>203.0.113.1<\/em>\u00a0with the actual IP address of the Azure site.<\/p><p>For verification records, refer to Azure\u2019s documentation on\u00a0creating domain verification records.<\/p><p>Add DNS records for Azure verification with a grey-cloud icon.<\/p><h4><strong><u>Miscellaneous vendors<\/u><\/strong><\/h4><h5><strong>ClickFunnels<\/strong><\/h5><p>You can configure Cloudflare to work with ClickFunnels. \u00a0The process requires updating your Cloudflare DNS settings.<\/p><p>The following articles from ClickFunnels outline how to best configure the two services for your site:<\/p><ul><li>Adding a Cloudflare subdomain<\/li><li>Cloudflare CNAME record<\/li><\/ul><h5><strong>Zoho<\/strong><\/h5><p>Reference\u00a0Zoho&#8217;s MX documentation\u00a0and\u00a0SPF documentation\u00a0before adding DNS records to Cloudflare.<\/p><p>See the examples below for adding proper Zoho DNS records to Cloudflare. In all examples, replace\u00a0<em>example.com<\/em>\u00a0with the actual domain name:<\/p><ul><li>Add Zoho\u00a0<em>MX records<\/em>:<\/li><\/ul><pre><em>example.com<\/em>  MX  mx.zohomail.com (set <strong>Priority<\/strong>\u00a0to 10)\n<em>example.com<\/em>  MX  mx2.zohomail.com (set <strong>Priority<\/strong>\u00a0to 20)<\/pre><ul><li>(Optional) Add an\u00a0<em>SPF record<\/em>:<\/li><\/ul><pre><em>example.com<\/em>  TXT  v=spf1 mx include:zoho.com ~all<\/pre><ul><li>(Optional) To access mail through a\u00a0custom Zoho URL, add a\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>:<\/li><\/ul><pre>mail  CNAME  business.zoho.com<\/pre><ul><li>(Optional) To add a\u00a0Zoho domain validation record:<\/li><\/ul><pre><em>zb********<\/em>\u00a0CNAME  business.zoho.com<\/pre><p>The zb record is unique for each domain. Add the unique zb verification code provided by Zoho.<\/p><h5><strong>Unbounce<\/strong><\/h5><p>Refer to\u00a0Unbounce&#8217;s documentation to determine the CNAME record\u00a0to add to Cloudflare.<\/p><p>Add the\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em> with a grey-cloud icon if Cloudflare is activate via one of our hosting partners.<\/p><h5><strong>SendGrid<\/strong><\/h5><p>Confirm what\u00a0records SendGrid requires\u00a0to set in Cloudflare&#8217;s DNS.<\/p><p>Typically, the DNS records are similar to the list below. Replace\u00a0<em>example.com<\/em>\u00a0with the actual domain name:<\/p><pre>email  CNAME  sendgrid.net\n<em>example.com<\/em>  SPF  v=spf1 a mx include:sendgrid.net ~all\n<em>example.com<\/em>  TXT  v=spf1 a mx include:sendgrid.net ~all mtpapi._domainkey.<em>EXAMPLE.com<\/em>  CNAME  dkim.sendgrid.net. smtpapi._domainkey.e.<em>EXAMPLE.COM<\/em>  CNAME  dkim.sendgrid.net<\/pre><p>Add DNS records with a grey-cloud icon. SendGrid cannot verify a mail configuration when Cloudflare\u2019s proxy is enable.<\/p><h5><strong>WPEngine<br \/><\/strong><\/h5><ul><li>Consult\u00a0WPEngine&#8217;s documentation\u00a0on DNS configuration.<\/li><li>Determine whether to add an\u00a0<em>A<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0to Cloudflare DNS:<br \/>Finding your IP address at WP engine<\/li><li>Consult Cloudflare\u2019s documentation on\u00a0Managing DNS records\u00a0for details on adding the records.<\/li><\/ul><h5><strong>Ning custom domain<\/strong><\/h5><p>Refer to Ning&#8217;s documentation on\u00a0Custom Domains and DNS entries.<\/p><p>If the Ning custom domain is\u00a0<em>www.example.com<\/em>, add a\u00a0<em>CNAME<\/em>\u00a0and an\u00a0<em>A record<\/em>\u00a0as follows:<\/p><pre><em>www.example.com<\/em>  CNAME  <em>example<\/em>.ning.com.\n<em>example<\/em>.ning.com  A  208.82.16.68<\/pre><p>Add the DNS records to Cloudflare with a grey-cloud icon until Ning verifies the domain.<\/p><p>After Ning verifies the domain, change the grey-cloud icon to an orange-cloud for the Ning DNS records so traffic can proxy to Cloudflare.<\/p><h5><strong>SmugMug<\/strong><\/h5><p>Consult SmugMug documentation for the latest details on DNS record requirements. Typically, add\u00a0<em>CNAME records<\/em>\u00a0for SmugMug similar to the following:<\/p><pre>photo  CNAME  domains.smugmug.com photos  CNAME  domains.smugmug.com<\/pre><p>Add the DNS records to Cloudflare with a grey-cloud icon until SmugMug verifies the domain.<\/p><p>After SmugMug verifies the domain, it will change the grey-cloud icon to an orange-cloud for the SmugMug DNS records. So traffic can proxy to Cloudflare.<\/p><h5><strong>Mandrill<\/strong><\/h5><p>Refer to\u00a0Mandrill&#8217;s article on DNS records\u00a0for the latest details on DNS record requirements.<\/p><p>Mandrill requires addition of\u00a0<em>SPF<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>DKIM records<\/em>. Obtain the DNS record values from Mandrill.<\/p><p>Add the\u00a0<em>SPF<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>DKIM records<\/em>\u00a0as\u00a0<em>TXT records<\/em>\u00a0in the Cloudflare DNS app.<\/p><p>For example: If <em>example.com<\/em> is the Mandrill domain, then add DNS records similar to the following.<\/p><pre><em>example.com<\/em>  TXT  v=spf1 include:spf.mandrillapp.com ?all mandrill._domainkey.<em>example.com<\/em>  TXT  v=DKIM1\\; <em>(values from Mandrill)<\/em><\/pre><h5><strong>Rackspace CloudFiles<\/strong><\/h5><p>Configure Rackspace CloudFiles via\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>. Consult the\u00a0Rackspace CloudFiles documentation.<\/p><p>Confirm the correct\u00a0<em>CNAME<\/em>\u00a0target with Rackspace support.<\/p><p>An example\u00a0<em>CNAME record<\/em>\u00a0appears as follows:<\/p><pre>rack  CNAME  <em>e0978.r18.cf2.<\/em>rackcdn.com<\/pre><p>Therefore, <em>CNAME record<\/em> cannot be proxied to Cloudflare since rackcdn.com is not compatible with Cloudflare.<\/p><h5><strong>Tumblr custom domain<\/strong><\/h5><p>Tumblr\u2019s systems are not compatible with Cloudflare\u2019s proxy services and Tumblr customers cannot use Cloudflare&#8217;s SSL services.<\/p><p>If\u00a0<em>example.com\u00a0<\/em>is the custom domain, add DNS records to Cloudflare similar to these below:<\/p><pre><em>example.com<\/em>  A  <strong>66.6.44.4<\/strong>\n<em>www.example.com<\/em>  CNAME  <strong>domains.tumblr.com<\/strong><\/pre><p>Disable Cloudflare\u2019s proxying for any DNS record related to Tumblr.
